Connel Petterson brings a 20-year track record in finance, transaction advisory, and capital projects leadership at PwC and AECOM to Alpen Systems. He specializes in guiding organizations and business owners through strategic growth, operational optimization, and complex deal execution—combining deep financial acumen with rigorous execution frameworks to maximize value and mitigate risk.

Connel’s management consulting foundation includes nearly a decade at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) leading digital transformation projects for Fortune 15 enterprise clients. During his Big 4 tenure, he contributed to more than $2 billion in realized M&A integration synergies, designed a multi-unit operating model across 14 business units that cut time-to-market by 50%, and built a PMO and governance structure for a $50 billion global company spanning 10 project portfolios. In transaction advisory, Connel served as an Acquisition Diligence Advisor, assessing operational and financial risk across 150+ acquisition targets. He engineered financial models and diligence frameworks designed to inform high-stakes deal decisions.

Throughout his career in capital program oversight, Connel has led major multi-billion-dollar initiatives. During his tenure at AECOM, he managed costs, schedules, and P&Ls across more than $3 billion in capital programs. This included leading a $240 million per year Department of Defense (DOD) demilitarization program with direct monthly reporting to the Pentagon.

Connel holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Brigham Young University and a BSc. from BYU–Idaho. He is also a certified Agile Product Owner.
